Excellence in PR: 2024 PRSA Sunshine District Conference

Jarel Communications recently earned two prestigious awards at the PRSA Sunshine District Radiance Awards for excellence in public relations campaigns and tactics.

The annual event brings together over 1,000 public relations professionals from seven chapters across Florida and serves as a platform to recognize outstanding achievements in the field.

The Radiance Awards highlight the highest levels of professional accomplishment, showcasing PR campaigns and tactics that excel in research, planning, implementation, and evaluation. We are proud to have our work recognized alongside other esteemed practitioners who demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing the profession.

• Award of Commendation, Impact Report: We received recognition for supporting the Foundation for a Healthier West Orange in producing its first impact report, which highlighted the organization’s measurable contributions to overall community well-being.

• Award of Commendation, Writing: To elevate the organization’s fundraising efforts in pediatric cancer, Jarel Communications secured an opinion editorial for Cannonball Kids’ cancer Foundation in one of the leading national nonprofit trade publications.

In addition to these honors, our founder, Wendy J. Roundtree, APR, participated as a panelist in a session dedicated to the challenges and rewards of being an agency owner. Sharing insights and experiences with fellow professionals, this discussion emphasized the importance of leadership and innovation in the ever-evolving PR landscape.
