As an intern, you will gain practical experience and have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects and clients. This is a paid internship designed for college juniors or seniors.

Requirements
College junior or senior
Public relations, journalism, communication or marketing major
Excellent writing and editing skills
Proficiency in Associated Press (AP) Style
Strong organizational and communication skills
Working knowledge of Google suite (i.e., Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite
Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
Ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting
Prior internship experience preferred
Responsibilities
Research – Conduct comprehensive research to support agency and client project.
Writing – Various formats, including news releases, pitches, social media content, email newsletters, etc.
Media Relations – Develop media lists and pitch newsworthy story angles.
Social Media Support – Assist with the management of Jarel Communications and clients’ social content.
Reporting – Compile various client reports (i.e., media, social, etc.)
